... some bunched together and some sort of off by themselves. Some of the headstones were covered in bits of paper and stones placed there by visitors. Day 13: Getting Gemütlichkeit
Yet another day of celebrating Christmas today. It's more than I'm used to but I'm definitely not complaining!
We were up early, getting plates of food ready to take to N's sister's house for a post-Christmas brunch. Day 12: Fröhliche Weihnachten!
... since I don't know what baking soda and powder are called in German yet....) It was the first night that I was by myself with the kids at bedtime, and overall things went pretty well. Even with us still speaking mostly different languages, we're beginning to understand each other.

Kein Heisswasser, Keine Mietegeld
... amazing german chocolate (so good). Despite some language barriers, it was a surprisingly pleasant afternoon. It completely recharged my batteries from the past week. They even let me play with their dog! (But the dog wanted nothing to do with me...he didn't even come up to sniff me). Man, I miss my dogs (and leo).
