Well, the plan initially was arriving at Milan at midnight, sleep in the airport and take a flight to Bratislava (Slovakia) at 6.20 a.m but -surprise!- my friend lose her passport so we can't fly till she gets a provisional one. That means we have to go to the spanish consulate to do the procedure. Ok, perfect...

... office a lot less and a bit cheaper, they were very helpful as I didn't speak Italian and they didn't speak Aussie . I went across Milan today and organised to pick up my bike tomorrow, looks like a fine machine and I am excited about the trip, though the guy at the shop said they were expecting rain in the mountains...bugger but u do wot u gotta do. So pack tonight and up with the sparrows tomorrow and into the Dolomites ...

... of delays in the building!!! It is 158.5 metres long. We then found the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuel one of the oldest malls in the world and this to was beautiful. It seems anything goes in Milan when you need to find a car park!!! We had tea at the hotel, bruschetta followed by lasagna & spaghetti bolognaise which was very tasty indeed. We sat out in the pretty little garden to eat. Have decided to have another early night. This holidaying takes all our energy. Such fun ...
