    George wasn't on the train we took from Milan to Venice, but he was spotted by by a couple in our party, near the Town Hall after the civil ceremony. We had a great hotel between the Rialto Bridge and St Marco. On Friday evening we explored the local cicchetti bars (similar to tapas) with our fellow food and wine tour members.

    Our final morning the bags were outside our room by 7:00 AM and down to breakfast at 7:15.     ... again, and of course we were in a tizz.....what could we do? Well, we stood there until the next stop at Pordenone and got off. But of course Zia and Zio were waiting at Sacile. Only had their home number, and tried to ring there but of course no one was home. Looked in the phone book to see if Gigi had a number in there but there was every other name but Gigi.
