A quick stop in Zwolle for lunch at Bagels and Beans which I thought was a huge chain that was everywhere but Kat informs me there are only 3 and we just happened to go to the right places. parking was an ****, everywhere only takes Maestro cards and the only places that take coins are a 1hr max or too low for the van, that's why the stop was so ...

A nice afternoon and evening with cousin Saskia, Mark Tante Nelly and Oom Henk.

The weather was perfect for a tree top walk and Heather Walk at Het Boomkroonpad.

Then dinner at Chinese Restaurant Wo Hing in Assen.

... part, and I joined them on their last day for a 10k walk. Very 'gezellig' and great to spend some time with Dutch kids. Regina is the daughter of John's cousin Erwin, and his wife Mirjam, who we stayed with.
