Hi everyone today we dr0ve to Ancona to catch the ferry to Croatia. On the way we stopped at a typical Italian beach covered in deck chairs and umbrellas. We chose a place for lunch and set up on the deck chairs for a while on the beach. There are so many chairs that unless you are in the front row you cant actually gaze at the beach you just look at the back of other peoples deck chairs. Also because you are all so close together its a bit ...

Had Wild Boar for dinner last night at Ristorante Mario, village Chianti and tiramasu.

Today was spent sightseeing, found the track and sorted out where we would park as traffic will be insane, especially this year with Rossi leading the points. It's a sea of Yellow at the front gate with all the vendors

Early starts for us this weekend but excited to see the track and experience Motogp Italian style.

Got there around 17 h15, chilled by the port a bit with beers and hot chocolate, then boarded our ferry to Ancona, Italy at 20h15. We had a cabin on the ferry, we had beds and a little shower. Ferry journey, 10 hours, like being on a cruise ship, minus the bells and ...

... and some garlic buttery sauce. It was the most amazing pasta I've ever had! We'd just asked the waiter for a bottle of wine he thought would go well with the pasta, and it certainly complimented it perfectly. However, after ordering we were poured a glass of sparkling wine and provided with an aperitif and some delicious bread all without ordering. It occurred to us we were in a very fancy restaurant and the meal and wine could be quite expensive. We googled the bottle of wine and ...

... our British Pounds. We gave up and got some cash out, as international transactions aren't that expensive and we were getting a little desperate. We got some lunch, pizza! Italians sure know how to pizza! Will ordered a Capricciosa, but the waiter couldn't even understand him with his terrible Italian accent... We followed up with a couple of cappuccinos - good coffee at last! After lunch we went back to the hotel. I'd just finished night shift, and needed ...
