Hi everyone today we dr0ve to Ancona to catch the ferry to Croatia. On the way we stopped at a typical Italian beach covered in deck chairs and umbrellas. We chose a place for lunch and set up on the deck chairs for a while on the beach. There are so many chairs that unless you are in the front row you cant actually gaze at the beach you just look at the back of other peoples deck chairs. Also because you are all so close together its a bit ...

So here we are finally in Mugello seeing a GP race, staying in ...

... down, she was nine. We then rushed back to our hotel by bus. Took a taxi to the inter city bus station, for a 4 and a half hour bus journey to Split. Got there around 17 h15, chilled by the port a bit with beers and hot chocolate, then boarded our ferry to Ancona, Italy at 20h15. We had a cabin on the ferry, we had beds and a little shower. Ferry journey, 10 hours, like being on a cruise ship, minus the bells and ...

    Exploring Ancona

... exploring the town of Ancona, walking through the cobblestone streets and many beautiful Piazzas, up the giant hill to the cathedral and fort that overlook the town. This is the travel we really love, getting away from the big cities where everyone speaks perfect English and everything costs an arm and a leg. The views from Cattedrale San Ciriaco at the top of the hill were spectacular. We could see the wall and Arco di Traiano, an arch that is over 2000 years old from Roman ...
