Sooo we arrived in Pushkar late in the night and were greeted by the nicest hostel owner and two nice girls called Meg and Rose who were just crazy but great fun! We had a nice supper and just talked till late then went to bed! The next day we went exploring and we just loved Pushkar- we ended up staying there for 5 days! It was amazing, so much shopping and the whole town had such character and buzz! Our hostel had a pool as well which was a real treat so ...

The Indian women taking part in Holi generally stayed on their doorsteps surrounded by saried sisters and friends and under the watchful eye of a husband or brother.
