Ok, we visited one of those amazingly beautiful beaches that Brazil is known for. A lot of this trip was inspired by "Y Tu Mama Tambien." I won't ruin the movie story, if you haven't seen it, but the characters are "finding themselves" on a road-trip. I am also trying to "find myself" or maybe "lose myself" a bit on this trip. I ...

Finaly, the Maragogi day arrived. And it started really early.

Due to the tie, the best time to go to the Natural Pools were at early morning, 7.30 am. Since we were 150 km away, we had to get up at 5 am.

We hope to come back one day and see it remain unspoilt as it is ...

... the whole journey hugged the deserted coast and it looked exactly like we imagined it to.

Maragogi is a small fishing town, with a long sweeping beach with a row of shops and restaurants backing the sand. It's normally popular with Brazilians but as we had noticed with most places post carnival, it was very quiet.

We found a really cheap (cheap for Brazil anyway) pousada to stay in, one with our own mini fridge stocked with snacks, bonus! As money was tight we ...

On the day after, I wanted to go to Recife but stopping along the coast at Porto de Galinhas. Rita recommended me to go there. Readin the advice from the book, I ended by a gas station where I was supposed to find a vehicle to get to my destination. There was only a kind of taxi who offered me to go to Maragogi and told there was no direct transportation to Porto de Galinhas from there. I really looked like a tourist ...
