... coming in the water got deeper and visibility was poor so we went back to the beach and spent the day chilling by the pool! The last day we took one final trip to the beach for a dip before we had to leave all too soon. Sao Miguel Dos Milagres is a sleepy town with some of the most spectacular beaches and wildlife we have seen. We wish we could keep it a secret but notice even now more Pousada's being built. We hope to come back one day and see it remain unspoilt as it is ...

After our mildly disappointing stay in Salvador we caught a night bus (one of our last) to a destination further north up the coast, Maceio. From here we took the earliest bus we could to a little town even further north called Maragogi. We had read that along the coastline north of Maceio we would find untouched white sand, palm backed beaches, reef protected turquoise still waters and the best seafood money could buy...Yes please! The bus journey to Maragogi proved for once the LP ...

... joined them. I know I should take care about who I talked to, but I also have to meet some people. And it was a quite crazy bunch of people, trying to convince me to stay overnight in Maragogi, with some gay people. Very extraverted and you can imagine the discussion.... Do you like boys? How do you know you don't like boys?... Have a beer with us! Stay! It was funny but after one hour of that I really have to walk away.

... a small bus from Olinda back to Recife to get another bus here. We were very lucky when we arrived in Reciefe and saw a bus right away (they only run every hour!) and sprinted to the bus with our packs on. (Let me tell you at this point, I did not pack lightly....my last weight of my pack was 17 kgs! Oh, I hate putting that thing on!) We tried to get on the bus in the front, no room, then the back, no room then the front, no room then ...

Welcome to Hotel Elsayed, this is the big view in front of a small mountain inside the village. It is located in a small fisherman village not far from the beach; far from the airport at Maceio, 1 hour and half by car; far from Recife, 2 hours by car. We have 1 star, for rest, fishing, swimming, walk at the beach, diet, lose fat, earn fat, eat good fish and other foods, go to falls, walk or bike, by boat, have fun.
