No we haven't jumped ship for an Island off the coast of Spain, although it does feel like it in some ways. We made it south into the island of Kyushu and are settled into a wwoof host that runs a Spanish style restaurant modeled after Ibiza. The food is European, the hosts are Japanese and the beer is from around the world. ... to the ship was interesting. “Follow the Americans” was our byword.

At 4:30 the ship was entertained by a young exuberant troop of drummers. Later at dinner we were treated to an almost full moon to starboard and a setting sun blazing through the windows on our port side. Sharing our days experiences with our table mates made for a perfect ending to a wonderful day of memories.
