... who are biking their way around Europe ! Then discovered my train was in front of another train, so had to beetle further up. No wifi. Then part way along there was a brief announcement in English to say some of the carriages weren't going to Hamburg. Panicked. Asked nice girl next to me ( basic English ) and she said we were ok. ... to settle in. At 815pm we slowly moved out of the harbour and passed 30 plus wind turbines - eat your heart out Tony! After a seafood dinner it was off to a show - Evergreen Favourites from operetta to musicals, this included songs from West Side Story, My Fair Lady, a dance from Swan Lake and the old favourite from Moulin Rouge - The Can Can. ... have refrained. I think not. He would have gone in all guns firing. Workers rights was one of his passions. That night, we enjoyed a romantic private balcony dinner on an absolutely perfect evening. Complete with flowers, cocktails, champagne and an amazing 4 course meal and professional photograph. ... Lise, her sister, made the icing. Malene made the other one, layered with her aunt's special raspberry cream. It simply involves mashing raspberries with sugar and then adding them to whipped cream. Delicious!

After coffee and the desert we had a look at the new glass house and the first plantings of seeds, the herbs and early potatoes. Temperature inside the glass house: 15 degrees.

... we all went back to the cemetery. The grave had been filled in and completely covered with the wreaths and flowers. They are still there 6 days later!

My mother is taking it all remarkably. She has always been strong and I think my father and she promised each other not to fuss. But she is physically quite frail although strong as she never shies away from doing the impossible, while arguing that she can do nothing!
