Driving into Switzerland was amazing. It was exactly how I imagined. Steep sloped roofs, brightly coloured window flower boxes and just generally green and pristine. The hostel was definitely in the most beautiful location compared to all the other stops. The lady there even gave Nick and I a free upgrade for the 3 night we were there. Yesterday being my last full day, and after having dragged my carcass across the Ligurian Coast the day before, I made it a point to take it slow. CT is unique in that there is no collection of main sites or exhibitions to see. Rather the region and the villages themselves are the experience. It is a place to wander the village streets or just sit and snack on a picnic lunch. Pesto was ...

... IR or inter regional train which only stops at Interlaken. After looking at the schedule at Interlaken Ost, we debate whether we should go to Ringgenbach, not knowing what is there, or stay in town. Carol wants to do laundry today since the hotel actually has a washer we can use. After a month of walking, sink washing our socks doesn't leave them as clean smelling as she would like, and our other clothes could probably use ...
