... interactive museum experience was perfect!

One floor brings back the excitement of the games through ear phones, and you can hear the crowds cheering while athletes achieve Olympic feats and fame.

Personal garb from various athletes have been put on display on another floor, giving you a sense of who they were, or at least their physical stature.

Andrew spent 1999 as an AFS exchange student with the Escher family, and we had visited them before, in 2006. Great to see Ursula, although sadly Albert died late last year. Also the lovely 120 year old farmhouse, horses, dog, cat, rabbits, chooks etc. Son Lucas and partner Sabrina and baby Jeannine came for ...

... there which is somewhat interesting though unfortunately a lot dealt with someone who proved that Hannibal and his elephants could have crossed the Alps there, though no one in their right mind believes he did. What I recalled is a history lesson that dealt with where the St Bernard’s came from, and a passage noting that concepts of safety that we take for granted in the modern world were non-existent in the middle ages. Driving over the Alps in winter is ...
