    ... ht down for a 1000 meter
    vertical descent. Eina. Sore knees and toes were in order and to round it all
    off the path was full of stinging nettles and the temperature must have been
    close to 30 degrees. Oh well, one has to do these things as well in order to
    appreciate life to the full.

    So at last, back to our “house on wheels” and off to our
    camp where we washed away our aches and pains with a few cold ones and a Swiss “Boerie”

    ... Steep hills. We were following these through the vineyards that line the hills when we spotted a campsite down by the lake shore. It was after 6pm and we had had enough of this brutal day of riding. This is a very popular campsite, we have already run into some fellow Aussies here (for the jazz festival), but there are heaps of tents up.
