We had to catch another train to get to Plovdiv, it was a bit confusing to figure out where to go. They use the Cyrillic alphabet here (also in Serbia but usually the latin names were written as well) so we couldn't pronounce anything, they use the number 3 in the alphabet! ...

... Tomorrow we will set off on the final 10 days of this leg. 4 more days in Bulgaria and then the careful navigation into Turkey and the very heart of Istanbul. ... blah blah...they just make it difficult), we spent most of the day roaming the cobblestone streets of the old town before meeting up with some Dutch friends we’d made to watch the Netherlands vs Uruguay World Cup semi-final match later that evening. We would have liked to continue the evening after Holland’s win however with an early morning departure to our next destination pending, we opted to end our final night in Hobbiton with the match.
