... Shopping and rolls - and a coffee, made for a good lunch, then onto Checkpoint Charlie. Quite an unsettling attraction, although I did pay 2 Euros to have my photo taken with 2 fake American soldiers. One was German and the other Yugoslavian! A bit of fun. Eventually got back to the accom and after a brief rest we took off on the bikes for the Berlin Wall Memorial, about 5km away. Once again a ...

... it. I can't make this **** up. I tell him to **** off, in English, and change seats. He still has no idea why that was totally rude and ****** up. WHAT. IS. WRONG. WITH. PEOPLE. My photos can't capture the actual expression of its face; very touching indeed. I then went on to walk around Old Town while the children swam. There are three towers that the public can climb Schiemer, Zyt and Mannli. Towers are part of the rampart walls built in 1386 and remain largely intact. The oldest city ...

Our drive into Switzerland was beautiful, we had seen some amazing snow before but it doesn't get old. There were massive mountains, and so many picturesque lakes, and of course lots of snow!! Turns out Switzerland has 6% of Europe's water supply in their lakes and we decided it would be so pretty to see on summer. The water was crystal clear as it comes straight from the mountains and makes their tap water taste amazing. Even the river thing that ran through town was ...
