... so up there, very big souvenir shop. Weren't heaps of groups up there, maybe two others, one German, one Asian so plenty of room. There is a military bunker up there as well where soldiers live in the mountain. Radar installations and other things evident. There is another hotel as well. Crazy. Then went down on the other side of the mountain by gondola. Two of them, the first large which holds about 40 people, and ...

... Ten Thousand people were in the race. After breakfast we went to visit the Rosengart Collection. This is a private collection of art that was donated to the city by Angela Rosengart. ... The rest of my day in Zermatt is wondering around with my eyeballs popping out of my head because I can't get past how beautiful it is. It is exactly like what you imagine a high end ski resort town in the Swiss alps should look like, which I suppose is reasonable since it is. The next day there was beautiful weather and I think it may have even made it to 18 degrees during the day! After more exploring I caught the afternoon train up the Gornergrat (this mountain because ...

The hangover was terrible. I ended up passing out in Corey and Megan's room at about 3am, when I made it to my room at 5.30 I really could have slept for another 10 hours easily! I got another 45 minutes before it was time to get up, pack my bag and have breakfast. I managed to consume 2 bread rolls at breakfast to take some anti nausea before getting on the bus! I slept the next 3 hours ...
