... 157CHF so rather pricey but so glad I did it. The views were spectactular but got to play in the snow, see the ice kingdom, take in panoramic views and even zip lined.   • This morning half of us took a cruise on the lake. This gave a different perspective of Lucerne. The lake is very clear and only 2-3 meters deep in many plkasces so one can see the bottom. One thing that stands out is how green everything is. Chalets are sprinkled around the hillsides and often really high up on isolated slopes but they are surrounded by lush green grass that stretchers right up to the tree line. Autumn is coming to Europe. The signs are there for the reading. The lush summer greens of the forests are hinting at it with flashes of red, yellow and orange, the evenings are whispering a little cooler and as we ride the wind causes a flurry of chatter amongst the fallen leaves.
