... places as it is so stunning. The iconic bridge in Lucerne is even more impressive in person than what it is in photos so I felt like a kid in a candy store I was that excited. We wandered around the old town for a little while until we decided to head back to our accommodation, have some dinner (or breakfast) and settle in for the night. As we only have the one full day here in Lucerne we wanted to make sure we get a good nights sleep to maximise the day ...

Scott used a couple of expletives while the girls thought they were on a roller coaster! Over the valley were some hang gliders and these landed in the paddocks half way back to Lucerne. As we drove along we saw farmers with walk behind slashers. They were also raking the grass and obviously collecting it to feed to the cows in the barns. Switzerland ...

So…you know when in University you were always told to 'backup’ your work. Ya..that would be some good and sensible Mama Histon advice. Do you think THIS particular Mama Histon had headed that advice…??? NOPE.

... walked to a Jesuit Church which was beautiful, especially the frescoes on the ceiling. We then walked to one of the old towers of Lucerne where you could walk along the town walls. But they were working on that tower and it took a Herculean effort on our part to walk the several blocks up hill to get to the next tower. The view was worth it. Absolutely beautiful.
