    Around 90% of Hannover were destroyed during WW2 and when I saw some of
    the old houses that remained untouched it really broke my heart as I
    could only imagine how pretty this city must have once been.

    I hope you will enjoy the (rebuilt) remains as much as I did.

    ... very much the cosy bed with the soft pillow and the nice bed linen.

    The breakfast was fantastic, too. You could make yourself waffles, or full English breakfast or tomato mozzarella or you could take honey out of a real honeycomb. :-) How cool is that? And you were also given your own newspaper in the morning.

    ... more English sounding name of Windsor. Strictly speaking, if the Queen had taken her husbands name and hyphenated it with her own, she would be Queen Elizabeth Saxe Coburg & Gotha Schleswig Holstein Sonderburg Gluckstein. I think you'll agree that there aint much English in there!
