Everyone is extremely friendly and if you try and speak to them in broken German they appreciate it, but will usually respond to us in English.     We stopped on the outskirts of Hannover for a quick visit with Pete's second cousins Herbert and Vicky. Peter hadn't seen them since he was a kid. We thought we would just stay for a cuppa then go see the city. How wrong we were. I should have known better seeing as they are part of the Haggis family. But at times Dave felt like a spy keeping track of two groups at the same time. Ann said it was like having a body guard.     ... up but rather was like a car on a rail that changed direction up a tube. You could see out of the the top and bottom of the car. Only five people were allowed in the elevator at a time. Getting to the top of the elevator there were stair but not as many as yesterday.
