... lanes around to find ever more wonderful views, interesting shops eg... guns and rifles in all their glory!! (yep - off the shelf), palace, church and a huge race track where they do trials (we could hear them in the background). It was like a rabbit warren in a way, but going up instead of down.
We went for an early morning walk to see the sunrise the next day. It was magnificent!

We are on our last day in Rimini, and we're both quite glad of it. Not that we haven't had a good time (though the hostel has been a bit rubbish).
The journey down here from Munich was a real slog! It took 8 hours, though that didn't really bother us too much. 8 hours of discomfort on a cramped Italian train however, that was what made it difficult. It was a compartment style train (6 seat per compartment, 3 on each side facing each other) which seemed great when we first sat down ...
... the world) it was one of the more enjoyable and relaxing days we have had. Also pretty funny was when we went grocery shopping they actually had their own vats of wine in the store but funnier than that was when Jen got caught by the armed security gaurd taking a photo and he started ranting in Italian at her. Not much else to say just a real different kind of beach town that has a historic center. Very relaxing and fun. Now it is off to Verona the next morning...
Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy moore_mattjNo program for the afternoon so we planned our escape to the beach by the pool. Whilst it is difficult to leave the pool adventure is a foot. Cagli was an option but the beach had the greater pull. about a 45 minute drive to Fano. Denis Hieke Mandy & I set off after lunch but the clouds were set to close in on us as we headed towards the coast.
Fano is a topical Italian beach resort town. I have never seen so many beach umbrellas and ...
We left for Urbino after breakfast for a quick trip (Birth place of Raffaello - painter) of course coffee & gelati was part of our plans with some sights thrown in.
Nice place and worth the trip. No time to view the museo a bit of a shame as there is a section with Rafael.
We had some great views going over the mountains going to/from Urbino. Mandy is handling driving the larger car just fine.
Ciao
... The best of all is a large pool to lazy around after Yoga and eating, what a life, the weather was fantastic during the week, high 20's
I think I did too much on the first day of yoga as I couldn't back up on the Tuesday (lucky to get out of bed) but once moving I did both afternoon sessions (playground) breathing in the afternoon and then meditation after dinner.
Wednesday afternoon is free time so we are planning on a trim to the coast Fano

... photos and memorabilia of Rossi’s career and along with the other geeks we checked it all out. Across the road was the Official Rossi Fan Club headquarters and we strolled in to see his bike which he won the 125’s on and lots of career photos. We joined the fan club for 40 Euros each which gave us a t-shirt,cap and bumbag and keyring. The people there also gave us posters hearing we had come from Australia and been to the races. We were stoked ...
Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy kasnsqueakWe liked Rimini as soon as we set eyes on the beach - it goes on for 9 miles so you can't miss it. It is a proper european holiday resort with a beach front strip of neon hotel signs, restaurants and arcades that seems to have remained off the radar for Brits (but well on radar for Italians, Germans and Russians). Being the end of May, it was still a little subdued so the big nightclubs hadn't fired up and there was ...
Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy jiewu... to "The way you move..." until it finished, and then got ready for "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road" (and I don't even like the smell of bacon; hate it in fact). It didn't happen. It was just a one-off, but still that's significant, to me at least. Surely these people can't really understand what she's talking about. I mean you can't really understand what Lucinda Williams is talking about unless you're from Lake ...
Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy hardiek... but were rained out. We did a very enjoyable day trip to the tiny town of Gradara that is swamped by its large castle. The castle is renown for being the home to the lovers in Dante's Inferno. I'll have to add that to my list of books to read! The castle was very impressive - from the frescoes to the furnishings and the architecture. After lunch in a pretty courtyard of a restaurant ...
