    Donkeys smell

A travel blog entry by emily_160 on Jul 23, 2014

... one. As least I had a bit of a blocked nose so it didn't affect me as much. The man asked mum and I if we wanted to go on a donkey together and we said yes. It was so strange because as soon as we hopped on the donkey it just took off and we didn't know what to do. The man gave us no instructions and it was kind of like he was thinking 'here have a donkey it's on autopilot'. As it was like it was on autopilot because it just knew where it had too go. Finally we got to the top ...

I swam it and came back, all it was is warm water. I think Jess would have drowned if she swam it, they should really mention this ...

... in all, probably on their way to the red and white beaches that were only accessible by boat on this side of the island. So heavenly to have all afternoon to talk about our dreams, what we worried about and our hopes for the future of our family. Two weeks away from home and the kids seemed like a long time when we first started planning, but we realized how the block of time was really important to fully let go of day to day work habits and concerns and ...

    Storm in Santorini

Everyone says Santorini is fantastic and it looks great in movies but we were suspicious that it might just be something of a tourist trap. Well it does have tourists by the Cruise Ship (up to 11 ships a day coming ashore in large groups,) but nevertheless it is spectacular and unique.
We loved roaming the fancy shops, visiting the fantastic archeological site Akrotiri, ...
