    ... or train station.

You can drink openly here and many people do. It's fun to walk around with a beer. But it's a mellow vibe, unlike New Orleans. It's also an artsy city, with lots of nice graffiti (and some bad stuff too) and art shops.

We saw some fun ska bands at a place called ChemiFabrik. Beers were dirt cheap there and were all delicious Pilsners, my fave. We explored some museums and paid to go ...

This beautiful National Park is very close to the border with the Czech Republic. After a pleasant train journey ...

As our job/ course finished, we decided to head south for the winter to spend time with friends and family down there, before that though, I decided to visit someone from a previous job in Dresden.

Dresden is another historical place but even now it has its very modern parts (some very artistic areas too, and an outdoor gear store where you can test ...

... flying Josh. Arriving in Dresden, we settled into our new base camp, a series of small boxes known as 'rooms'. The lack of free wifi has caused many to fall due to twitter withdrawal. The foreboding absence of mini fridges has seen morale reach an all time low. However we have found a safe house stocked full of Big Macs. Shortly after our arrival we ventured into the heart of ...
