Yesterday I didn't really know how to talk to them as my Spanish is still quite rusty but today I felt a lot more confident and as we were teaching them English words, they taught us some too. We then did the excavation where they helped us too and then after burying on the beach we all went for a play in the sea. ... in sight but there was a FAN!! After cooling down a bit, we manage to find a living soul in there who tells us that the waterfall is 1 kilometre away. Ok, we decide we could probably manage 1 kilometre. We are back on the road, trying to cover ourselves with backpacks to avoid burns - totally pathetic attempt since we are red as crabs already. 15 minutes in we ask someone else where this bloody waterfall is and we are told that it's 1 kilometre away (!!!). ...
... a group of Canadians! After that, we spent the rest of the day in the pool, drinking imperials (which were delicious) and making friends. Unfortunately, we only re-applied our sunblock twice over 8 hours and both have pretty serious shoulder sunburns .
I can't believe we are heading into our last full day here:(. Next time we want to bring you guys along with us!!
