    We had wonderful, brick oven fired pizzas - enough for all seven of us - plus two bottles of Rioja wine, and a glass of white wine - plus wonderful shrimp and potato salad tapa (thrown in for free). All of this for 10 euros/person! Prices are amazing here . . .

    ... Antequera would not have been all that much fun . . So - it was after 10:00 when we headed out on our bikes. Still chilly here at that time of the day! Arm warmers and jackets! The road was up and down (typical of most of our rides . . .). And it wasn't long before the sun warmed us up and we were stripping off layers! Wonderful biking roads - hardly any cars or people.     ... that our assumption was wrong. We ordered an overpriced Tapas collection for 2 persons (20 EUR is a hefty price for rural Andalusia) - well our own fauld, dad insisted...     ... for a quick trip to a nearby lake and river where there are said to be deeper pools for wading. The lake is easy to find- about 20 minutes from Alhama de Granada. The water is super blue and beautiful. We park and stroll along the water's edge for awhile, dipping feet, tossing some rocks and enjoying the stunning 360 views. Just a relaxing and wonderful place.
