... back to campus and the CPI bus back to our host home. I needed to sleep that lunch off before heading back to La Playa Penca for another gorgeous sunset and to work on getting a tan. I later met Carly there and we wandered around photographing all kinds of wildlife.... The only thing missing were a couple of monkeys in the trees but, tomorrow we plan to hit La Playa Azúcar, it's supposed to be a white sand beach. It was beautiful.
We set up camp and had to put a lot of leaves under our tent because it was so rocky! Then we cooked up some dinner of sausage and tortillas and hiked up a nearby hill, overlooking the water, to watch the sunset.

... getting a taxi, even on Sunday. I go up to tell Robin that we have no way into town only to find her laying on her bed looking miserable. She says "I just threw up". Ruh oh. I can only say it was fate that there were no taxi's. We would have gotten to town and had to turn around.
My evening was spent packing and hanging out with the other guests while Robin spent a good portion of the night in the bathroom expelling from both ends. A tough way to end a lovely vacation.
... of 2013. I loved how fresh and new it was and they are delightful. I felt like I was living in their large home. The kids came to like us and hung out with us at breakfast and in the pool each day. Staying here also gave me a chance to practice my Italian. GeanMario's parents were visiting and with the help of Google translator, I had a lovely time chatting with Nona (Grandma) from Torino. She even invited me to visit. Time to plan!
