    ... watching the locals. Some of them were incredible! Climbing all over, flipping, diving, jumping, it was so fun to watch! They made everything look so easy!
    We all left to go back to town and the students left to get back to San Jose. I made myself some lunch and then went to relax, aka watch movies. I spent most of the day just being a total bum and watching a ton of movies in a row. I ate some dinner and then went back to watch more movies and go to bed. ...

    ... and tanagers - no me either!) Hoped to see some other mammals such as ocelot, peccary, jaguarundi (small wild cat) and the biggie - Jaguars...all reputedly in the area, but very scarce so unsurprisingly not seen. Oh well, at least we (sort of) walked off this mornings breakfast. Back from our trip, we drove a short way back towards La Fortuna, and found a pizzeria for lunch to make a change from the local dishes ...

    ... we went up the stairs and down into the cold pool. I plopped down, all the way in, and it was so shockingly cold that I think I literally screamed a little. But I forced myself to stay in until I was somewhat used to the temperature. Then I went back to the wonderful warmth and started to feel my body really relax.
