With Skippy wearing her new chains we tackled the steep climb. The road was dangerous enough with all the fresh snow, but it became even more stressful with every couple of metres stationary cars and their occupants stood in our way. Eventually we came to the boarder crossing, leaving France ready to explore Andorra. Parked for the night in the capital Andorra del Villa with our hot water bottles close by.

and the holidays are over. There's not much happening in Foix but I'm enjoying myself here. Christmas was nothing special really, just a fancy dinner with magnificent food. ... sea level. Austen & Harry are so good at it now after their 5 days of ski lessons. They passed a test on their last day in the Alps and got a certificate & medal for passing the 'Folcon' grade. They were so proud of themselves, and very confident to take on the Pyrenees Alps with us. There were some really long runs that took over 25 minutes to get to the bottom and then we would catch the gondola back up to the top to do it all over again! It was a lot ...

... Beef. Oxtails and broth with lamb chops, pork belly, trotters, chicken, black and white pudding, carrots, chickpeas, potatoes, and cabbage. Amazing. There is a microwave if the guest would prefer their food hotter......and at home its called a boil up. Hilarious and enough to feed a clan not just two of us, wine and water and extra $12.

We have spent the last couple of days walking, sightseeing and shopping. Its been cold ...
