... out everything about the area. Well done Neville - despite your technical problems you delivered a very interesting, insightful presentation. It's now Sunday and we drove to Cumbria to see my Cousin Laura and Family. An interesting tour of the region by Dominic and a delightful pub lunch. Carrefour is like a Walmart, but dosed up on body enhancing steroids and sporting a suntan. It’s big and loud, with specials ...

... stroker. At the same time as I jumped in, a Mum with high cut togs started her lengths. The two resident swimmers were maintaining a steady pace, and navigating themselves around the painfully slow swimmers, so we started at a reasonable pace.

The first few lengths are always a chance to warm up, and get the heart rate and breathing at the right pace, a bit like how one might start a rattley old diesel engine on a cold morning, before everything the fluids ...
