We arrived at Cabo de Gata around 2 pm which has beautiful beaches with clear water but full of sea urchins, on top of that we got hassled by aggressive flies and sandblasted as there was a special wind called the Poniente for a couple of days. We won't be staying to long I think. We stayed a couple of hours on the beach and than took the car and went into the small village down hill. No way to find a tv with the pay channel that would ...

Friday 3:30 - Miguel shows up and asks if we can go at 4 instead, but he is going to stay in the apartment with us until then. He and the boys start messing with iPad’s and PS4 games and the language barrier is very evident. So, smart me… I download a voice translation app on the iPhone.

... and friends sucked - but with all those damned electronics we lug around - we know that we are able to amply keep in touch.
And so, at that moment by the Sea, just the four of us laughing and living out our not-so-normal life seemed perfectly normal. And stress free. And right there and then, all my symptoms melted away and I knew for sure that this is all going to be okay - even wonderful!

We have moved campsites today, about 10 kms up the road to Las Negras. The campsite is practically on the beach. The price and size of the pitches reflect this. High price – small pitches.
Today we rest and tomorrow we finish walking this stretch of the coastline.
