... valley with a creek running beside the path. We saw cows, sheep and chickens in the pastures. The little mountain villages almost become more quaint each day. We are truly in the Galacian mountains and enjoying the scenery and food. One of their specialties is garlic soup (roasted garlic in an egg drop like soup). Tomorrow we have a climb up over a pass in the morning and then follow another valley the rest of the day. ...

A long drive and struggling to find a good campsite. We end ...

... not for me! I do a picturesque gentle undulating ride through the Valle De Camelona. Very impressed by Adrian's effort, it's so hot he has to ask some Spanish people for more agua, the children of the family give him high fives, I think they must have been impressed too. My Vuelta hero! Peaceful evening and more delicious food at the La Isla Campsite Bar by the River ...

... or spell. it is a broth with noodles with a dish of chick peas, lamb, pork and cabbage to mix in as you wish. It comes with dunking bread. It is the sort of thing you would eat on a winter's day in England and perfect after the cycle ride. Campsite pool when we get back and then siesta. Food here is served late, 8-12mn, campsite food is good, 8 choices of Paella, lots of pasta dishes, some tapas and lovely ...
