    ... zigzags down from the Lauberhorn. Of course The World Cup course doesn't zigzag, it goes straight down! The official course is 4,455 metres long and descends 1,025 metres in altitude. Would you believe the record time set in 1997 is an amazing 2 minutes 24 seconds. I might be wrong, but my calculation says this is an average speed of 111 kms per hour!!!!

    ... with poor visibility at the top of the lift.
    We did this chair twice before trying to get down to the Wixi chair. The wind and a couple of closed runs made us change our plans and we headed back to the bottom of the Arven chair before grabbing a drink at the restaurant.

    ... is a climb of nearly 500m in altitude and took about three hours return. The views of the valley and surrounding mountains was just awesome.
