... often, it’s about time too. Happy I did Buenos Aires first and now more central and calmer cities to think more about my time-off, my plans and where I want to go.

Perfect mindset for the next 10 hours on the bus (even if I know I will fall asleep in 10 mins once in that “cama” confortable seat)

Goodbye Cordoba, “encantado” to meet you!

Next stop Mendoza. Wine, excursions, nature and my first horse ...

Breakfast in the hostel was not very exciting, the bread was quite nice and that was practially all you got (that was edible). We went next door ...

Don´t ask me what it is, I thought at the start it was to cover the measly bit of dried and stale bread that they give you before but after yesterday´s charge I don´t have a clue what it is. Wolfgang seemed to think it is a charge for using the cutlery! Unbelievable if that´s right - a restaurant charging to use its cutlery. We´ll bring our own next time. Anyway, we had raviolli and free soup at this locals eating joint. Not bad.

We ...

... on the pedestrian walkway of 25 de Mayo. A great spot for seeing the local sights, but the area lacked charm and was packed with wandering tourists. We were just a few short blocks from San Martin plaza – a sort of center of the old town – and a beautiful plaza it is. We wandered around and found a lovely restaurant a few blocks away and I got to get locros – a regional stew of corn, hominy, beans and beef with a saffron-esq ...
