One day we went to a smaller town outside of Cordoba City but still in the province named Cosquin. A small german town with big mountains. We took a taxi up the side of a large mountain and then rode a chairlift to the top and saw a beautiful 360 degree view. This towns simplicity changes when it has one of the biggest folklore festivals in the world. I am sure it is quite a good time...

So, Día del Respeto a la Diversidad Cultural turned out to be Día de la Raza take two, the actual Columbus day, but its name changed recently when they decided that the Americas existed before Columbus 'discovered' them. So, now it’s a day to celebrate cultural diversity instead, and I was lucky enough to sit in on my placement school’s assembly and celebrations.
