We visited the "man" and "women" island. Before we entered the palace with the timed guided tour, we visited Konig Ludwig II Museum. It was actually very nice, especially we knew something about his life after visiting the famed Newschwanstein. The museum had many pictures and even Ludwig II's death mask and photo. ...

We wandered by a tent were we saw Tyrolean folk dancing and a group of young boys doing slap dancing, (which requires some well choregraphed hopping and slapping of leather shorts). We even saw Tyrloean bowling. There were beergardens everywhere and lots and lots of prezels in various flavours (chocolate anyone?), roasted nuts of all kinds and gingerbread hearts (which is apparently ...

      ... than the lake spot.

After lunch we hiked a short trail that went backwards and up to the Swarovski Oberservatory, which was made of glass and shaped like a crystal (because Swarovski is a famous crystal company). The views were incredible, although it was very warm inside all that glass. We also saw these weird structures scattered all over the side of the mountain. We all assumed they were to help stabilize the snow in the winter, in order to prevent ...
