A travel blog entry by cassie.goehring on Jun 14, 2015

We had to wait quite a bit of time in line for the tickets and then walk our way to the top. Unfortunately it was pouring rain the whole day. This made for a very wet walk up the mountain. It was definitely worth it and a beautiful castle to ...

Wild camp 30 miles from Ulm

A travel blog entry by lukeandsarah on May 30, 2013

... Very uneven surface, difficult sleep ahead. Plan for tmrw is 5am start, get to Ulm and consider getting a cheap room and doin g errands before attackng the Danube the day after. See how i feel tmrw, legs will be stiff... What a day! Pretty much a 'classic' touring day, tough, but very rewarding and memorable.. PS - note from the next day, turns out that I actually crosssed the Swabian Alb, technically a low mountain range'... An accidental detour over a mountain range then!

It was a long and tedious climb to the top of the 162m high spire. We finally reached a platform I was sure that was the end and stopped to walk around the diameter of ...
