... so I had to go to the counter. My round trip ticket to Mechelen was only 5.40 euro. I guess they have weekend rates where you only pay for a single trip, which is nice. While I was there, I decided to buy my ticket to the airport tomorrow. The first leaves at 4:51, so because my flight leaves at 8:05, I am guessing that should be enough time. A taxi would probably cost me 50 euro, so I'd rather not do that.

We ended up sharing a couple of bottles of red wine over dinner and had a lot more ...

... the St Michael and St Gudula Cathedral on the way back to the hotel. Picking up a quick pizza on the walk home we rested up for the evening and made a plan for the next few days.

After a much needed sleep in we headed off on foot to see the Royal Palace a short distance from our hotel and had a quick breakfast on the go. Later that morning we caught up with Jeremy, Bo and their little fulla Lewis for brunch after at least a 10 ...

Good Morning Blog Friends,

Where to begin? Leaving London was a drag. Five or so friends, who I met along the way, threw me a going away party in the hostel my last night. By the end of the evening we had 20 or more people crammed into a tiny kitchen on the third floor of THE WALRUS. Pictures have been slowly trickling in from that night, and they continue to get better, as if clues from a murder mystery.
