... go down a long stretch of sand to a large expanse of beach. It's a view that made me think this might be what the Jersey Shore looks like. It was very nice but we were anxious to find the hotel.

... aren't due till 6pm. The wind steadily increased as we approached the coast. The path was not as picturesque as earlier, but we still had a dedicated bike path with no fear of renegade cars swiping us. One of the towns, before Knokke, the last town on the coast, must have been a rich neighborhood. ... the Main Street and we popped in to a couple of nice ones for a beer. My favourite was a bar that was decorated with lots of foliage to make it seem like a jungle. I then headed back to the hostel just before the last train with my new-found train riding skills.

... day with some typical Dutch food; Krokets and fries with mayo at a waterfront restaurant before heading back to Gent.

It has been so great having friends nearby who offer to introduce us to new experiences we might not otherwise have. They have certainly made this transition easier and more fun! Wednesday is the start of our last clinical in the Masters program and I'm so excited to see what OT is like in Belgium!

... Afterwards a group of like 9 of us went to De garre, which is a pub that is located on De Garre and serves De Garre beer. It is the only place in the world to serve this beer. You also get a free little bowl of cheese when you order. We then all went back to the hostel and by that time I think we were down to seven people.
