... journey was beautiful! Right up through the Andies, past the beautiful inca bridge (didn't have time to photograph it as we drove past), down to stunning Mendoza! The bus terminal is about 2k from the main plaza where all the hostels are. I met a German girl in the bus depot and we took a cab together to a hostel. It's 85 pesos per night at Punta Urbano hostel for a dorm room, they have free wine from 8-9 pm so I'm very ...

... quite hurting (especially) for men at the same time… so, let’s say, a bit painful freedom. The guy in front of me was the English one with the massive horse: quite a funny (and heavy) combination, especially because his horse was not so happy to go faster and he was stopping every other corner.

I got to observe an orthodontic clinic where I saw some interesting braces, some that looked more like torture devices! When we got back we went on a bike and wine tour. A taxi picked us up and took us to a really pretty little town where we picked up our bikes. After a (very!) short bike ride we reached our ...

... tries to go in that space, well lets just say its not worth thinking about. It was a little scary walking up to the stadium but once at the side we were supposed to be at we felt safe as it was mainly families and young supporters. We made friends with an Argentine man and his son who were River fans and they took care of us, his English was fairly good so we could communicate with them, really nice people. The Atmosphere was amazing, this is apparently ...

... to say hello, and I'm British.......painfully, painfully British. What's wrong with a firm, but friendly, handshake? Maybe some non-threatening eye contact and a wave? Not likely around these hot blooded latinos. So, taking a 'when in Rome' mentality, I threw myself into this particular custom and began kissing all and sundry. Friends of friends, waiters, English teachers, no one was safe from my over-zealous embrace and kiss combo.......until we had a meeting with a ...
