    ... unreal, sun is fierce and not a breath of wind. Afternoons on the balcony are the order of the day, listening to all the birds shouting at each other and arguing over bread dropped on the floor at the cafe by the lake.
    Only downside is having to wait until 7 till the restaurants open. Not easy for two gluttons like us. Had a rubbish meal first night too which is enough to put us in a bad mood for about a week. Italy almost done. ...

    ... the same question. Well with partners in crime... Why not?? We climbed the fence and absolutely enjoyed the path that we had entirely to ourselves. There was a bit of a landslide that we had to traverse, but definitely nothing life threatening. We didn't even encounter any trail police!     ... so feeling happy to spend a night here. Managed to find my hotel reasonably easily though of course I went for a view so it's up a hill and more bloody steps. Ah well. The bonus is it's extremely close to the stazione so will be super easy to catch my train tomorrow. Settled into my room then walked to the stazione to buy my ticket to Tirano.
