The gentle art of skiing in sunshine
Emily and her husband Andrew visited during a worldwind tour of the world. It was great to catch up and hang out with the 2 after quite a few years.

Skiing the Alps!
... there. We had sunny skies the entire trip and once again, everything was beautiful.
Had rachlettes for the first time - this is a type of cheese that they melt and serve with a couple small potatoes, onions, and pickles. I find it to be better than fondue and made sure to eat it a couple times. Another first time experience was carmel vodka. A local bar, named The Pipe makes their own vodka there and it is good!

Cheeky Catch up with Nadia
A friend, Nadia, lives in Milan and after a random email exchange we decided to meet in Sion - close to being in the middle of Lausanne and Milan. After lunch and a stroll around Sion - which is turning into quite a cool place, we then drove to La Vaud and had some wine watching the sunset over the lake before heading to Lausanne to drop off Nadia. In the evening Ana and Stefan had a fab meal with Milagros in Pully - gorgeous evening out and the summer just keeps on giving.

Grindelwald to Zermatt
... seemed to be much more industrial and an increased number of stores seemed to appear. After we had settled into our hostel we enjoyed a good dinner which fueled a run on a 3-4 km track that was compulsory to complete. Many of us did 3 or even 4 laps.
