Farewell Yessers & On to Vercelli

... It was another albergo—Hotel Garibaldi. It's a lovely place with beautiful gardens and a lovely restaurant. After the dinner we had last night we aren't eating much this evening.

We went down for dinner at 7:30. We weren't sure how we were even going to eat after the meal we had last night. We still felt full. We shared a macaroni, rigatoni with bacon and tomato cream sauce ...

Very nicely said, it means "Very Steep". Could also be translated to "suitable only for goats", "am I in Spain" or "I should have trained harder". I thought that I was set for another very comfortable day like yesterday. I was over confident at best. ...

Liz and the others made such a celebration of my birthday (on Friday) which was wonderful and I felt very special! I was a long way from home and Brunetta (a friend from Adelaide) was very worried that I might spend my birthday alone - but no need to worry Brunetta - I had a great time with lots of people, a beautiful cake and verses of happy birthday in three languages, German, Dutch and English! How blessed was I!! Great thanks to Liz for ...
