Ieri in uno dei giri di "allenamento" ci siamo fermati sotto una tettoia per ripararci da un temporale. Ovviamente non potremmo fare la stessa cosa quando saremo al nord ...se no potremmo stare fermi per giorni eh eh eh Quindi ecco che entra in gioco il kit di sopravvivenza pioggia che Beppe ha sistemato nel punto più accessibile: la borsa da serbatoio!! Going North

After freshening up at the Hotel, I borrowed a mountain bike (FOC from the Hotel) and rode to the Town centre to have a look at the "Pont"which is a Roman Segmented arch bridge dating to the 1st. Century BC.

First day at Giro
... where we waited at a bar for the Giro to come through. Lots of fun and excitement - especially to the local townsfolk to whom its propably a privelidge that the race come through their town. Afterwards we stayed at the bar to watch the exciting finish before heading back to the hotel and another 4 course dinner! Tonight the 2nd course was polenta with a melter cheese blob.
