... 5ft wide, plenty of space really, but no railing. The drop to the ground would have been about 10ft I think. Me being a big scaredy cat, stuck to the wall, which had windows in it so I could glance out at the 30ft drop to the water. I don't think I like castles anymore The castle was used by the Counts of Ghent until the 1400's. Then it was converted to a prison. In a few of the rooms they had displays of the kinds of torture people endured in this place. There was ...

The train ride home took 4 and a half hours and we had to transfer twice. There was no wifi and it was pretty cold so I was overjoyed to finally crawl into my warm bed that night.

Overall it was an amazing trip in Belgium and I would love to go back soon!

... big university town that is incredibly picturesque but also incredibly cold. It’s a cool place with all of the university students, cafes and bars. Everyone there rides bikes everywhere too, which is cool.

I met the girls at town hall and we headed to a café for a beer. This was alos the night I did a runner from a café without paying except it wasn’t so much a runner, we just walked away and it also wasn’t deliberate. We just forgot to pay but ...
