... there because of the tracks in the snow, When we got to the top of Mt Titlis we headed out onto the snow and just had fun. We threw snow balls, built snowmen and generally played around in the snow. It was great.  By this stage it was time for lunch so we headed in and had lunch in the highest restaurant above sea level in Europe. Lunch again cost an arm and a leg. ... that comfortable, but the school children would have enjoyed it. We also got to see their goats, chickens and pet rabbit. It was a great experience, but I was really looking forward to getting into the hotel at Lucerne.

It was only a 30 minute drive to our hotel which is situated on Lake Lucerne. It again is a five star hotel and everything is decorated exquisitely.

... sound of cowbells serenade us. We want to stay longer but we still have quite a ways to go. At a trail junction, it gets really steep as we pass a waterfall and descend to the river below it. The downhill is relentless until we cross the river and find a small patch of shaded trail through some woods. It doesn't last long and we are soon in the sun again. We emerge from the trail at Furenalpbahn, a cable car station. There is a bus stop here for Engleberg. ...

... wow. hard to believe only a few more days left. I have met so many wonderful people and seen so much. I HAVE BEEN BLESSED and given a huge gift to be able to LIVE LARGE for this whole time. Would I do it again? Absolutely.. just wire money!!! Really, it has been so wonderful. Thanks for coming on my journey with me. I will write again when I get back and continue until the first of the year when my travels will slow down.
