Trento is a surprise package. A city of approx 120 000 based on education and finance this city is located on the river Adige, a major trading route with Europe in earlier time, and completely surrounded by snow covered mountains. Spectacular.

Can't believe the size of the streets cars drive in within the city limits, crazy. Went to the supermarket and got some dinner for tonight in our apartment. ... our very good friends, Ingrid and Frank Kunstel, was especially amazing. We've known each other for over 40 years, so we know each other well. We have a nice rhythm of traveling and being together. Seeing all this with them, experiencing it together, enhanced every minute.

Toured through the farmlands of Bassano del Grappa and the walled city of Marosticca. Markets again so couldn't see the square at its best with lots of people everywhere.
