After an emotional goodbye with our parents for the week victor and Theresa we were off and away on the early am train to Switzerland. It was about an 8 hour travel day with four trains. Friday Oct 5 saw us on a train to Zurich, where we arrived at midday, to be met by Alice and Leo. These are people who stayed with us at our motel and with whom we have kept in touch . despite not having seen them for 16 years, we had an instant rapport with them when they collected us from Zurich station. we were treated to a tour of the city and then taken to their apartment where we had lunch and a real catch up before they drove us to our hotel in time for us to fall into ...
