To get to the top, it took about 35 minutes on the steepest cogwheel railway in the world. The peak is almost 7,000 feet above sea level. The views were spectacular. Near the top, we walked through a tunnel carved through about half of the perimeter rock of the mountain's peak. There were several cut outs along the tunnel with great views of the ...

My Mum and I split a bratwurst with some mustard, bread and for dessert I had a macchiato (my addiction). While eating we sat by floor to ceiling windows looking out at the killer view. We sat there for a little while ...

Then I ran home to finish packing, clean my place for Richard and Jacky and change all just in time for Christophe to whizz me off to the airport. I'm not yet in relaxed mode in spite of a couple of glasses of champagne. Hopefully that'll happen when I get on the next flight. Hopefully ....
