    ... with the defence of the castle and everyday functions of such a place. It was really well set our with plaques in both French and English in each room to explain the history and purpose of each place.

    This week has passed by so quickly! On Monday I mainly rested and recovered from my trip to Hamburg. I got caught up on chores around the house and started the preparations for my departure. It's amazing how much stuff one has to do to prepare for a big trip like this, and to leave behind an apartment where you have lived for three months. My to do list is three pages long.
