        ... eclipse! The first level we were on was not too cold but you felt like you were so small compared to the amazing vastness around you. We then wanted to get to the highest point we could so we boarded the next cable car to go to the top. You could immediately feel the cold as soon as you got off the cable car, it was like no other cold you had felt before because it was thin cold air since we were thousands of feet up in the air.         ... sun. We were glad to have experienced Geneva, but were glad to be moving to a different part of Europe the next day, a much warmer part!
        We headed back to the hotel for the night, asked the front desk to use the microwave for our dinner (this was the first time I had a French person be flat out rude since I had been here, by the way) and then finished up our laundry to head out to Spain the next day. Time to leave the big city and cold and head to a warmer small town area!

        ... Needless to say I didn't book those places! On landing at Geneva airport I was pleasantly suprised to find a machine which distributed free rail tickets to the city. Was this really as bad as everyone said? Whilst checking in to the hotel the concierge gave me a free travel card for all public transport around the city. Wonderful! I would make full use of that during my time in Geneva. My guide book had advised starting ...
