... to see, but it would be truly impressive in the spring and early summer with the snow melt or after heavy rain. From there we walked the trail along the Koppental Valley that is called "The path through the wilderness". Got the bus about six km down the road to where the track started. Uphill right from the start, first through cattle grazing country, then up through forest. So here we are, getting set for our 2014 Balkan Adventure. After 2 days of ferocious packing and cleaning, as we vacate what has been our Reception, Bar and Restaurant for the last six and a half years, we have collapsed in a heap pending some last minute personal packing and 'making ourselves look beautiful' preparations - so much to do, so little time!
