Today we went off to Nagoya Castle. So far it has been my favorite and not just because the SAKURA ARE RUFFIANLY IN FULL BLOOM but it had a awesome layout and design. We also went to the palace but it had been rebuilt and was all new so it wasn't as good. The we went to a shrine that was deep in a park that was more like a forest. There I saw Miko-sans! Later we found another discount figure store where I went a bit nuts =P

Takayama to Nagoya

Well, it is a bit sad: it is our last half day in Takayama... We really enjoyed the town and the peaceful atmosphere. For this morning, we will be exploring the Shiroyama Park. We kept it for this morning as it is close to the ryokan.

... deck that has a water pond in the middle of it. You are pretty high up and basically walking on glass. From below you can see people walking above. The view from the deck is rather spectacular. City views, bustling traffic and gardens. It's quite tranquil and when we went up to the observation deck. There were maybe three people up there. There is also some surrounding gardens and pretty architecture.
