    This week was also a family dive day. All the DMTs, the instructors and Mike were on a boat and we did two really great dives. But the weather was not very nice and it was very windy and wavy when we prepared our stuff for the boat. Leandra placed all her dive equipment on the pier when a wave came from behind and washed all of it except the BCD and regulator into the shore! WTF and we could not jump into the water to get it ...

    ... given the wide variety of options and the lack of authenticity of the Mexican food anyway. It was good, if eye-wateringly expensive compared to everywhere else in Mexico. Then some people set out to embrace the nightlife to make up for the illness-tinged festivities last night. Not being twenty-two anymore, I went back to the hotel and called it night, and tried gamely to fall asleep despite the loud thumping music.

    ... in NZ aren't as bad as they are here. Most of the guys this morning are feeling or at least looking a bit worse for wear. But that's what you get when you party the night away until the small hours of the morning.
