It was all about the scenery as we spent our last week in Italy in the Dolomites and the Lakes Region.

As we headed north from Bologna, the landscape changed and by the time we arrived in Bolzano (also known as Bozen) we were surrounded by craggy mountains and stunning views. He has just moved to this school as one of the priests, and lives at ...

... kids ran around in the playground. The playground had 13 swings in it (why I don't know) and last time we were here and Nicolas was 2, he was obsessed with swings so I nearly fainted when I saw this playground and was imagining how to ever make him leave! When some of Paul's cousins kids arrived on the bus home from school, the kids had afternoon tea and a play with them too. We then went across the road to Angela's house where she took ...

      A rainy day!

... we were here. We then headed up to San Martino to see Nonna Mela. It's such s nice drive up the mountain but as its very windy we have to have the windows down, and Brodie usually ends up lying his head on Nicolas' lap with his eyes shut to stop feeling sick or throwing up! We went for lunch first, at one of the only open restaurants (as its off season most hotels, restaurants and ...
