Next day - same clothes!
Left the hotel (washed undies drying in the back of the car), went down to admire the view @ Calella de Palafrugell - gorgeous scenes looking over the cove, houses set into the hillside, boats on the water, crystal clear water of many blues.... stunning. Took photos... and headed off back to Begur.
Spent the rest of the afternoon booking accommodation. I’ve decided to move onto a little village about half an hour’s drive north east of Carcassonne called Caunes-Minervois so I’m booked in there at a place called Le Marbrerie tomorrow night. If I like it I might stay until I have drop the car back, if not, I’ll probably move on to Limoux.
Also found a hotel in Avignon, which was quite tough as just about everything is booked out. ...
In the smaller Cities, like this one, the train barely stops 2-5 minutes. It all depends whether there's anyone getting off and on.
I got off this train to catch another that left in about 35 minutes...so I had to go down 2 flights and up 2 flights of stairs with all my stupid luggage!!! And yes!!! Its heavy, by this time, I'm thinking 'why did I need to bring ...
