We have made it to the furthest point East that we are heading on this trip, Budapest – we had to have a little drive through the City to get to our Campsite – Camping Haller, this is mainly because its an almost city centre campsite, although you probably wouldn't believe it when on the site. ... to be able to read anything on it). At one point our walk took us into a small duck and horse area. The ducks were beautiful. One in particular had about 12 or more different vibrant colors on him and his feathers were shaped in the most unusual way. Another duck was black and white like a small water cow. The horses were small and not very friendly. One came over for a quick pet but left us after realizing that we had no food to give.

... into the river. Their shoes (not all 140,000) were cast in concrete and are left in a section on the edge of the river, all higgledly as though you had just stepped out of them. Quite moving to see them and sit a wee while.

... saw the legendary Hungarian Puszta cowboys in action with a show of fearless horsemanship. I went for a little walk to take pictures of "the shoes". This is where the Jewish prisoners were killed during WWII and thrown in the river. Very sad to see the monument of shoes. Well our fabulous adventure is coming to an end and it is time to pack, go to dinner and say goodbye to all of our new friends. It was truly one of our best ...
