... so it was amazing to actually be here while it was fresh in our minds. We also wandered through the 9 streets in Jordaan. Checked out a few vintage shops, some boutiques, record stores and ate the most amazing apple pie ever. With the weather at minus 1 it was hard to just wander without purpose today though. ... 4 months but in front of the the Amsterdam sign we saw easily the best one yet. It was a group of guys break dancing mixed with comedy. They had the crowd all a buzz and we even got a special Australian chant from them after we gave them five euro.

... and don't want to risk replacing them. When we got there we were greeted at the door and escorted to a seat at the bar where they began making us all these elaborate cocktails with flaming rosemary sprigs and rubber aliens for garnish. At some point Victoria commandeered the music and I knew she was officially on the permanent list. That's totally something one of my gals does, if not me! ... subways. Sometimes you just have to. We went back to the cheese store, sampled all the cheese again and than bought some cheese to go along with our wine and tomatoes tonight! Our plans have changed a little with our travel route and within the next few weeks we are going to Germany, Denmark, and Czech Republic! We cut out our Scandinavian countries as a bus to there is over 20 hours and we are adding in Hungary, Slovakia in replacement! Cannot wait ...
