... home about 9pm and there were now some girls in my room. One was really friendly and we talked for a while but the other just went to sleep. I was bored and not sleepy and Adrian was asleep so I had nothing to do and decided to dye my hair. I hated the blond in it that I got done before I left so I just died it all brown. Slept in a bit after a hard night out. Rented bikes near our apartment and biked Vondelpark then got brave enough to go around the city with them. ... fantastic. It was like Barkerville or Lower Fort Gary in calibre and the information board at each site, and a trusty free map in English really brought the place to life for us. ... next stop was at one of only eight remaining windmills in the city (there used to be over 800, but the invention of the steam engine put them out of commission).
