All day, Nothing to tell. Except that for four hours a guy had his dog dressed in a pink dress and it sat on his lap the entire time. It wasn't even a lap dog. Just a mongrel street dog he had saved as a pup. I met up with Dunia (the girl from Quito) in Ipiales. If you pronounce it like it looks, no one knows where you want to go and you get **** directions. It's "Ipp ee ar less". Even with my poor pronunciation holding me back, I continued my lucky streak ...

... a spot in my super top favouritist super duper religious things as I sat at the top eating an egg.

After that breakfast, it was back into the highlands – freeeeeezing after the Miami oven, and over the border to Ecuador, listening to SASH! and by doing so, crossing off another thing on my bucket list :P

... ever tasted, Miguel stated that should we be back to Cali we would be staying with him. Very tempting! Mauricio gave us a quick tour of the farm which is now mostly used for trout harvesting and was spectacular to see. After a quick hello to Manolete (the horse) we headed off to lunch. The restaurant overlooked Calima Lake which had kite surfers thrashing around the waters. Once we were back in Cali we stopped for our first ...

    Day 103

We got the bus today and finally headed out of Guatape. We where travelling to Salento, and we knew it was gonna take at least 3 buses, so we where dreading it. It ended up being an easy (but long) journey and we where there by dinner time. We hadn't eaten all day so the first thing we did was share a massive pizza. We checked into our hostel, which is just amazing. It's way up in the mountains, looking out over all the coffee farms. The actual hostel itself is ...
