    Another big day. All public transport is on strike in Italy today so I know I will be walking everywhere. Another complimentary breakfast next door before I head off to St. Mark's square to see The Basilica. I wasn't in too much of a hurry as Luisella had told me to get there between 11:30 and 12:30 when they turn the lights on in the ceiling to showcase the beautiful gold mosaics.     So the starboard side of the ship won again today and we were able to stand on our balcony (as opposed to the hundreds that lined the decks) and watch as we passed right by St Marks Square as we entered in to Venice. Having been here before without Kevin, I knew what to expect but he was stunned, and seeing it from just that little bit higher vantage point that the ship gives was an added bonus!
