Monday is market day in Castelnaudary. And it's a people's market, not a tourist market. And for dinner we went to Revel to the American diner.
Tuesday was windy and intermittent cloud. But in the morning we visited Revel shopping and it tipped down with rain. Over the other ...

... we were a last minute booking, we scored the best room and owned this magnificent outlook for the next couple of days.

The French and German hosts were beautiful and generous. Our fellow German and Irish guests were equally charming and friendly. Sharing breakfast with these folk was enlightening. To hear others travel experiences and adventures is always interesting and inspiring.

... We went out from there exploring for two days. Mostly a maize area. We found a huge new shopping centre in St Pierre du Marsan. 85 outlets. Rain at night, but quite pleasant in the daytime. Millie made friends and was offered all kinds of treats which we had to refuse as she is still up and down with her health.
Our next move was to an aire in Mielan. Well laid out aire with good facilities. The village was lovely. But ...
