Yesterday we woke up really early to catch the train to our next family member. Luckily the train station was just up the road so it meant that we were able to leave 15 minutes before it arrived. The train we caught was a scenic train which took us all through the mountains and as high as 2,500 meters above sea level. The views were so incredible! ... on the side of the road but we pushed through even though after asking someone if they knew the place they said it was an hour and a halls walk. Soon on we saw a sign board advertising it so knew it existed and we were on the right track. I took a photo of the sign to show someone to ask for directions. Stopped at a meat place and they told us it was about a 10 min walk. Finally we passed the bus stop that we should have got off and there it was. ...

Finally, we pull into Chur. We don’t know where our hotel is so Nanette asks one of the rail guys from the train. His response? “I’m finished for the day.” Yep, we’re in Switzerland all right. Hey, what’s that noise? Oh goodie, there are church bells chiming everywhere. Sort of feels like home ...
