I'm now down near Interlaken and soon find myself cruising along the shore road of Lake Brienz. I am heading for the small town of Andermatt via the magical Sustan pass.

In all the times I have been to Switzerland I have only once ever found this pass to be open and clear of snow but with the weather as it is today there is no ways it can be closed with snow.

... way down to warm up while eating an Nussgipfel ( famous swiss Nut-sticks) Everywhere you go even on the Base-camp where the Lift brings you up to the Säntis you see Constructions going , they are really cementing and filling Switzerland with concrete this day's greatly diminishing the upon a time quality of Live with it.... it is getting too crowded at least for me ...

... In spite of the drizzle we managed to find our way from the huge train station across the river and a short two blocks to our hotel. So far so good. Our focus was to wander the old part of town along the river and get lost in the back streets. There were far less tourists than in Vienna which gave the city a more laid back feel.
